John Fehling's Biography

This world is a wonderful experience, full of choices and momentums that drive our lives. All who reside here are bombarded with a myriad of paths to follow, yet have an inner knowing of why they exist.

I have done many things in my life from putting in runway lights at airports to painting houses, but have always known that my true calling is to be an artist. Every time that I have stepped off the path it comes back around to greet me, and so I must follow.

I found in my wife a true kindred soul and fellow artist. For many years we worked together to create a wonderful body of work. But as all things change, we have moved on and now pursue our own paths in art.

I am inherently drawn towards nature and the beauty therein. The resident geometry of it is sublime and we as human can only approximate it in art. My desire is to use digital photography and software designed for artists to bring out what I perceive as pleasing to the eye and soul.

Though digital art is new and yet to be widely accepted, I find it to be an expressive and challenging form of art.
